Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How can my school partner with EduAid for an outreach event? We welcome requests from secondary schools, university faculties, and student union governments interested in hosting a Pad a Girl Child distribution, gender health seminar, or exam-season welfare program. Reach out via the contact form with details about your institution, approximate student population, and the type of program you're interested in, and our outreach coordinator will respond to discuss feasibility and scheduling.

Can I donate items directly instead of cash? Yes — in-kind donations of sanitary pads, stationery (pens, pencils, notebooks), and non-perishable food items are always welcome and often make up a significant portion of what we distribute. Contact us to arrange drop-off or pickup of bulk donations.

How is my donation used? Cash donations go directly toward purchasing items for distribution (sanitary products, food packages, stationery, SAT preparation books) and covering essential logistics costs for outreach events (transportation to schools, venue costs for seminars). We do not use donations for staff salaries or overhead — EduAid's operational costs are covered separately by PB Cambridge Consult.

Do you operate outside Rivers State? While our home base is Port Harcourt, our programs have reached schools and universities across multiple states, and we're actively working to expand our volunteer network to enable more programs in other regions. If you're outside our current reach but interested in bringing EduAid to your community, let us know — community-driven requests often help us prioritize expansion locations.

Is EduAid a registered non-profit? PBC EduAid operates as the social impact arm of PB Cambridge Consult. For partnership and donation inquiries requiring formal documentation, please contact us directly and our team can provide the appropriate information for your organization's due diligence requirements.

Stay Updated

Connect With Us on Social Media

Beyond direct contact, following PBC EduAid on social media is the best way to stay updated on upcoming events, see photos and stories from recent programs, and learn about new partnership or volunteer opportunities as they arise. We regularly post about upcoming distributions and outreach events, often with details on how students, volunteers, or partner institutions in specific areas can get involved.

We Want to Hear From You

Reporting Concerns or Feedback

If you've participated in an EduAid event — as a recipient, volunteer, or partner — and have feedback about your experience, whether positive or constructive, we genuinely want to hear it. Programs like ours improve through honest feedback, and we take seriously any concerns about how events were organized, how items were distributed, or whether our programs met the needs they were designed to address. Your input directly shapes how we plan future events.

For Administrators

School and Institution Partnerships

School principals, university faculty, and student union officials interested in bringing an EduAid program to their institution should include in their initial message: the name and location of your institution, approximate student population that would be reached by the program, the type of program of interest (Pad a Girl Child, gender health seminar, exam-season welfare distribution, or school visit with certificate awards), and any preferred timing — particularly important for exam-season programs, which need to align with your institution's specific examination calendar.

What to Expect

Response Times

We aim to respond to all inquiries within two business days, though volunteer and partnership requests tied to specific upcoming events may take slightly longer as we coordinate with school administrators and student union contacts to confirm scheduling and logistics before responding with a definitive answer.
